Appendix (for reading content...etc)
The basic raw materials for bottle glass are sand, soda ash, limestone and sometimes. In the initial stage, all of these materials are added to a furnace by the means of a chute, where they are melted at a temperature of 1500° Celcius. The melting process often takes several hours. Once the glass is melted to the desired temperature, blobs of glass are poured into moulds, which shape the glass.
In the next step, air is blown into the moulds from the bottom, while heat is applied from the top. This ensures the shape of the bottles will be even.
The cooling process is next, and it includes cold water being sprayed on the glass bottles. The water must be cold to ensure the strength of the glass is kept intact. The bottles need to be cooled rapidly or they will have defects in them which could lead to later problems.
The last part of the procedure includes packing. This is when the glass bottles are packed into crates and sent to factories to be filled.
