Given is a diagram with information concerning the steps by which water passes from the ocean to the air and land, becoming electric energy known as “hydro-electric power.” Overall, this process is divided into four stages.
Starting with the natural water cycle, it is obvious that the ocean is heated by the sun, and it evaporates into the clouds. Then, the water from the clouds falls into a reservoir with a dam.
In the second stage, when the valve is open, the water from the reservoir flows into a pipe and goes through a turbine that spins to generate electric power.
Moving our attention to the next step, we see that the energy is transmitted to the transformer station through high voltage cables.
Finally, the power is distributed to hospitals and schools via underground cables.
